We have so many ways to celebrate mom this weekend — here are a few highlights:

🌸 Gilbert Park Community Days (Sunday, free!) — puppet show, live music, storytime, and crafts to make for mom right in the park. Bring a blanket and make a day of it!

⛳ Mother's Day at Camp Putt — moms golf FREE when they come with their kids. Such a fun one!

🥞 Plants & Pancakes at River Road Parks & Rec (Saturday, free!) — free pancake breakfast, Mother's Day crafts, and a mini potted flower to take home.

🎨 Free Mother's Day crafts at Michaels — kids can make a flower stamped card and thumbprint necklace for mom Saturday morning.

🎨 Natural Dyeing Workshop (Saturday, sliding scale $0-$15) — the day before Mother's Day, explore creative natural dye processes using plants, metals, and fungi at Parker Learning Gardens. Leave with dyed prints and fabric plus plenty of inspiration! Registration required.

🎭 And if you want to treat mom to a show, there are THREE productions running this weekend — Mamma Mia!, Ballet Fantastique's Wild West Ballet, and Willy Wonka Kids!

👶 Parenting classes starting soon! If you have a new baby or a three-year-old, Parenting Now has two classes launching this month — Incredible INFANTs (for parents of babies 0-4 months) and Thrilling THREEs (for parents of 3-year-olds). Both meet weekly and scholarships are available. A great community to plug into!
