Hi there!
Spring Break officially kicks off this weekend — and if you're still figuring out what to do with all that free time, you're in the right place.
This weekend is PACKED with once-in-a-while opportunities you won't want to miss:
🧚 The Faerie Market opens its magical portal just once a year on Saturday (11am-6pm at Lane Events Center) — think D&D, cosplay contests, faerie tea, live music, and crafts. It's $5 and absolutely enchanting.
🥁 Free Drum Tao passes become available Saturday at Springfield Library for the March 31 show — world-renowned Japanese drumming that's sold out in 26 countries. While supplies last!
🐳 Spring Whale Watch Week starts Saturday along the Oregon Coast (1.5 hours away) — 20,000 gray whales are migrating north through March 29. Free, and volunteers are stationed at viewing points daily 10am-4pm.
Plus: 🛼Y2K skate parties (dress in your best 90s/2000s gear!), HONEY Culture Club's community gardening event, storytimes, open gyms, swim times, and all your Spring Break favorites.
The weather's looking good, the whales are migrating, and the faeries are waiting. Let's make this first Spring Break weekend count. 💛
Let's jump right in!
