This one's for all the parents who need to break up the routine.

The day-to-day can feel so mundane sometimes — another Tuesday, another load of laundry, another "what's for dinner?" When we're stuck in the rhythm of survival mode, the weeks blur together and suddenly we can't remember what made last Thursday different from the one before.

But here's what I believe: when we do something different, we're more likely to make memories.

It doesn't have to be big. Maybe it's trying that new library craft you've been scrolling past. Maybe it's saying yes to the 5:30pm movie in the market even though it's a "school night." Maybe it's finally checking out those music classes you bookmarked three weeks ago.

The days are long, but the years are short. Make the most of the days you have.
